Exploring Minaret Station with a tailored hike, followed by a flight through the glaciers of the Mt Aspiring massif.
Your experience starts with a guided hike on Minaret Station. The glacial valley floor where the Alpine Lodge is located has an elevation of 3,000 feet which is right where the golden Tussock grasses begin to merge with the sub-alpine shrubs and mountain daisy wildflowers.
Your helicopter will reposition to meet you after your hike, to experience the grandeur of Mt Aspiring National Park. Featuring glaciers, crystal blue ice formations, waterfalls and sheer rock faces, this experience allows you to experience a wilderness which few people ever visit.
