Rates Per Chalet

Inclusions:
Accommodation for up to two guests in a private chalet.
Private guide for hiking from the lodge.
Nightly pre-dinner drinks and canapés.
Nightly multi-course gourmet dinner, with paired wine.

Daily lunch, either at the Mountain Kitchen or packed picnic lunch.
An extensive selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including the chalet minibar. In addition, a selection of Minaret Station Reserve wines and spirits are also available for purchase.
WiFi throughout the Mountain Kitchen and individual chalets.
New Zealand’s Goods & Services Tax (GST) of 15%.

Additional Guests: $650 per night, year-round. One additional guest per chalet may use the Queen-sized foldout bed in the adjoining dressing room.
*Rates are per chalet, per night, based on double occupancy. Chalets can be configured as King or Twin share. Rates are in New Zealand Dollars incl 15% GST.
Please Note: All provisions are flown into the Alpine Lodge so any dietary preferences (or food allergies) need to be advised at the time of reservation to ensure we can cater to your requirements.
Exclusive Use
With just four chalets, Minaret Station Alpine Lodge is perfectly suited to families, groups and individuals looking for exclusive use. Rates for exclusive use, are per night based on various chalet requirements.

Summer: $13,800 per night

Additional Guests: $650 per night, year-round. One additional guest per chalet may use the Queen-sized foldout bed in the adjoining dressing room.
Please note: Rates are per night. Payment required in advance to secure reservation. Helicopter transfers are in addition to the nightly tariff.
Rates | Scenic Helicopter Transfer
As there is no road access to Minaret Station, helicopter transfers are required. These scenic transfer rates are in addition to the Alpine Lodge accommodation rates. Helicopter transfers, both scheduled or private, depart from our heliports at either Queenstown or Wanaka Airports. Flight times vary but typically Queenstown to Minaret Station is between 25-30 minutes each way. Wanaka to Minaret Station is approximately 15-20 minutes each way.
Please Note: Due to weight restrictions on aircraft, guests are limited to one suitcase weighing no more than 23kg per person, plus one small bag. Under CAA rules all guest weights need to be advised in advance.
Other departure locations available on request. Additional costs will apply.
Scheduled Departures
Flights depart Queenstown or Wanaka Airports to Minaret Station at 2.00pm or 4.00pm. Flights depart Minaret Station for Queenstown or Wanaka Airports at 9.30am or 11.00am. Preferred departure times are subject to availability. Scheduled departures may be shared with Minaret Station staff. Rates are for a return trip.

*Please note, all loads are weight depending and require Aviation Operations sign-off. In some circumstances, the number of passengers may be limited to 5 or less to meet obligations under CAA rules. Aircraft subject to availability and may be substituted based on operational requirements. For groups larger than 6 we will require two helicopters. Please contact our reservations team for a quote for your group.
Private & Flexible Departures
If your schedule requires a more flexible transfer time or you prefer guaranteed exclusivity, we also offer private charters from both Queenstown and Wanaka Airports. Please note our check-in time of 2.00pm and check-out time of 11:00am. Early check-ins cannot be guaranteed even with a private transfer.

Heliport locations
All rates are based on departure from / arrival at our heliports. We have complimentary car parking available at our Wanaka & Queenstown heliports, which guests may utilise for the duration of their time with Minaret Station.
Queenstown
For guests requiring road transfers between our heliport and Queenstown Airport, we can arrange upon request for an additional cost of $250 per one-way transfer.
