Our Paddock to Plate Philosophy
The Central Otago region provides an oasis for distinctive seasonal produce. Wanaka’s contrasting seasons provide excellent growing conditions with warm dry summers and cool winters. This conditions allow local suppliers to produce an array of delicious fruit and berries, Manuka honey and vegetables to enjoy. Our seafood is fresh from Stewart Island, the West Coast and Fiordland. The Mountain Kitchen is located above Minaret Station’s own 50,000 acre working farm where free range venison, Angus Beef and Lumina Lamb is sourced.
Minaret Station is a founding farm contributing to the inception of the Lumina Lamb. Lumina Lamb offers a distinguished difference in quality and transparency for consumers. Raised on a remote high country stations, our lamb is rich with naturally high omega-3 levels and polyunsaturated fats as a result of the unique grazing and farming practices.
